A warm welcome awaits you at Eagles Ridge Country House where hospitality, art and culture blend together. A mix of rustic-urban design gives this venue a unique atmosphere while the stunning gardens, dotted with ceramic artworks, stretch down towards the beautiful indigenous forest.

Several types of accommodation are available for the visitor. Nestled in amongst the trees, a picturesque cluster of spacious thatched rondavels offer 5 double bed rooms and 6 twin bedded rooms. A selection of rooms, including the stunning honeymoon suite, is located in the main building. Each room has its own distinctive style and the bathrooms have been imaginatively decorated with mosaic art.

Originally a catholic convent, the old kitchen has now been transformed into a delightful licensed restaurant-art gallery. Serving a delicious variety of meals, fresh, home produced, organic vegetables, are used as much as possible. The old Esse stove keeps the restaurant warm during the cooler winter months and local and Eastern Cape art work adorn the walls. Most of the ceramics on display have been made by Free Wings Art Studio, located at Eagles Ridge.

With such a spectacular setting, it is the perfect spot for weddings while a secluded lounge is ideal for private functions. The conference centre, swimming pool and tennis court make Eagles Ridge perfect for business groups as well as holiday makers.

Alternative therapies such as drumming and meditation classes are available on request while those who are interested in Xhosa traditions and culture can be introduced to the history, dance and traditional ceremonies by members of the local community and the two resident sangomas.
