The Amatola Fly Fishing Club manages the trout fishing and fishing access to Maden Dam (9 ha) and Gubu Dam (109 ha). See further details below on how to reach the dams and the protocols to be followed when fishing there.

All water craft are permitted but only electric, non-combustion motors are allowed.

The dam is part of a conservancy and there is a no-dogs policy.
